The Image - Must be a photo, or artwork made or commissioned by you. Must be mostly realistic. No pure bred cats unless your cat was once a kittypet or the direct descendant of a kittypet.
Here on OTW, we take the matters of copyright and fair use very seriously. And I, the admin, recognize that we must use images responsibly. Therefore, if you are using a photo for your cat, it must be:
A. A photo you took.
B. A photo which is free use, found in abundance on sites like Pixabay & Unsplash.
C. A photo where you have satisfied all copyright requirements (these may vary depending on the source). Ex: You give credit to the photographer and are given permission to use.
Photographers are artists too, and we should give them credit if we use their work. In addition, there may be some who would not like us to use their cat's image as a basis for a character. For example, any random image found on Google may run the risk of being a photo of a deceased pet, and it may be upsetting to that pet's owner to see their cat being used as the face for a fictional cat character.
Though this roleplay exists as a non-profit Warrior Cats fan-site, we must always be mindful to not hurt others in our desire to have fun.
So, directly below the image, you must give credit for the photo.

The Basics
Name: Please use names only from our Name List. If your character went by a former name, please list that as well. Ex. Bluefur [Bluepaw - Bluekit] or Star That Shines Brightly [Starry]
Age: In moons, please.
A simple age guide:
0-6 moons = Kit
7-12 moons = Adolescent
13-30 moons = Young Adult
31-50 moons = Adult
51-79 = Senior
80-99 = Elderly
100-132 = Extremely Elderly
Gender & Sexuality: All genders and sexualities are accepted. Neither colony has any bias or prejudice of any kind in this regard.
Rank: Please note - High Ranks must be assigned via audition. You cannot directly apply for one. Your cat must first be accepted while holding a mid or normal rank, and then you must fill out the audition form while an audition is taking place.
Blessing:
For Tribe Cats ONLY - Please denote your cat's Voice Blessing if they are of age to have received one.
Camp Assignment:
For Clan Cats ONLY - Please specify which camp, Main or Wingcamp, your cat is assigned to.
Stats: Characters have a total of 30 Stat Points. They must be distribute them in the categories below, with the lowest for any being 0 aka no ability or 10 for exceptional ability. Both extremes are rare and most cats have a mostly even spread, with maybe an advantage in one or two stats. You cannot have a 0 in any stat unless your cat has a disability that effects that ability. Ex. A blind cat would naturally have a 0 in Sight, but then those extra points will heighten their other abilities.
Strength: This stat is displayed in things like fighting and jumping.
Intelligence: Can your cat think outside the box? Or quickly think up solutions in the heat of the moment? How about unique battle strategies?
Speed: How quick your cat is. How fast they can move on ground or even in the water.
Smell: Smell is importunate in identifying things like herbs or if a piece of fresh-kill is not so fresh anymore.
Sight: How far can your cat see? How well? This can effect things like identifying a fast moving object or a far away one.
Hearing: How well can your cat hear? Can they isolate certain sounds more than others?

The Body
Please note - Your description should match the image at the top, excluding disabilities, as we acknowledge that finding the right image in that case could be difficult.
Fur Color & Markings: Describe the main color(s) of your cat's fur and what kind of markings they have.
Fur Length: Short or long haired?
Eye Color: Acceptable eye colors are gold, amber, green, brown, or blue. If you would like to have a cat with Heterochromatic eyes, you may purchase this item from the store.
Body Size & Build: Small, average or large? Muscular or sleek? Please describe your cat's physique.
Health & Scars: Does your cat have a disability? or scars? Please describe them here.
*Other Notable Physical Traits?: Any other physical traits? Like long claws or angular face?
The Personality
General Personality: In at least three sentences, describe your cat's general personality. Are they sociable and outgoing? Or quiet and shy? How about bold or arrogant? Explain how your cat acts and sees the world.
Goals: What are their goals in life? What do they hope to achieve?
Fears: What are they most afraid of? What could be the worst possible thing that could happen to them?
*Secrets: Any secrets they don't want others to know? Could be serious or innocent.
The History
This is where you write the history of your cat. IMPORTANT - Any cat named within the history must be a player cat or an NPC. If it is a player cat, a cat played by another member, please link to that cat's application. If you would like to put a cat mentioned up for adoption, please put their name in italics and post an adoption thread for them within a week of your application's acceptance. If it is an NPC, please contain the name in []. This signals to us that it is an NPC. It is ok to have your character's family be NPCs, and assume your character could be interacting with them 'behind the scenes'. Also, depending on your cat's age, certain information below may not applicable.
In your history, please include the following information.
Who were their parents? What was their kithood like? How many siblings, if any? Please note, if you would like to have your cat be the child of a forbidden romance, even if the parents are NPCs, you must buy the respective item from the Store.
What about their adolescence? What was their training like? Did they get along with their peers?
How about now? What other events have shaped who they are today?
