So, in order to facilitate roleplay between members, players may adopt out these cats to other players for them to play. This allows cats to have a prior relationships from their backstory be continued in roleplay.
Please note, there are certain rules that come with this system.
When creating an adoption thread, you may list any number of traits of the cat being put up for adoption. Ex. gender, age, coat color or pattern, name, ect. Any trait not listed is assumed to be up to the discretion of the adopter.
Once a cat has been adopted, the adopter then holds all rights over that cat, as if they had created them themselves. The player who had put them up for adoption may not control or influence the actions of that cat at this point. Plotting discussion can take place, but that cat is now solely owned by the adopter.
However, should the initial creator, the one who put the cat up for adoption, so choose, they may ask the adopter the right to return the adopted cat should the adopter go inactive.
Staff reserves the right to update and change these rules at any time. Should this occur, members will be notified via an announcement.
